Steps to Register DSC on the ITR Portal

Step 1: Log in to the ITR Portal

1. Visit the official Income Tax e-Filing portal: https://www.incometax.gov.in
2. Click on ‘Login’, enter your credentials (PAN/Aadhaar & password), and solve the captcha.
3. Click on ‘My Profile’ and navigate to the ‘Register DSC’ option.

Step 2: Download and Install DSC Utility

1. Click on ‘Register DSC’ and download the DSC Management Utility.
2. Install and open the DSC utility on your computer.

Step 3: Select DSC and Generate Signature File

1. Plug in your USB Token.
2. Open the DSC Management Utility and click on ‘Proceed’.

1. Return to the ITR portal and click on ‘Register DSC’.

3. Click ‘Submit’, and your DSC will be registered successfully.
